Work and Hope
Visitors are introduced to the local Mennonite community through an introductory DVD, which begins with the early European history and continues to present day in eastern Pennsylvania. The Work and Hope exhibit begins with the Mennonite arrival in Penns Woods and continues chronologically through the Revolutionary War where it then becomes thematic.
Fraktur Gallery
The traditional illuminated manuscript art of the Pennsylvania Germans continues to inspire visitors. This exhibit features highlights from the Mennonite Heritage Center fraktur collection.
