Come enjoy and afternoon of singing at Frick’s Meetinghouse (2951 Orvilla Road, Hatfield, PA) to kick off summer! We’ll be lifting our voices to the songs in the red Mennonite Hymnal under the direction of Rod Derstine and Michelle Sensenig.
A legacy of the Rosenberger family, Frick’s Meetinghouse and Burial Ground holds significance in local religious history. Surrounding the building is the oldest Mennonite cemetery in Hatfield-New Britain. An earlier version of the meetinghouse served as a worship space for the Funkites, after they split from Franconia conference in support for the American Revolution over the English crown.
We will sing in the 1882 iteration of the meetinghouse surrounded by well-cultivated walking paths and trails. Lift your voice amongst the chorus of creation!
