Michael Adams, PWCS

I have been an artist my whole life. I decided to be an artist when I was nine. I’m as inspired now as I was then. It’s wonderful to express my creativity through my artwork. As a fine artist, my focus has been wildlife and landscape painting. I’ve been a bird artist for 30 years. I participate in local and regional exhibitions.

I have been working as an illustrator and designer for 45 years doing projects that vary from designing collectibles, dinnerware collections, and numerous children’s books. My most meaningful work is religious subject matter for figurines, prints, and books. I taught for many years, in the Illustration Department at my alma mater: the University of the Arts. I currently teach watercolor classes at the Art Center of Ambler. I live with my wife, two dogs, and six cats in Trooper, PA.

Susannah Hart Thomer

My art background includes a BFA in Fashion Illustration from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and after graduation, I started illustrating advertising for local department stores.  My interest blossomed into the joy of watercolor painting and over the years I showed my work in watercolor shows, was published in various art publications and co-chaired art shows.  I am a member of several  watercolor  associations and societies and am represented by a local art gallery in Chestnut Hill.

Most of my subject matter comes from nature’s beauty and coloration that literally surrounds us everywhere, day and night.
