In anticipation of the Lenape visiting the Mennonite Heritage Center in March and April, John L. Ruth, MHEP board-member and author of This Very Ground This Crooked Affair: A Mennonite Homestead on Lenape Land (2021), will reflect on a Lenape appeal for a place to bury ancestors’ bones in their homeland.
