This class will meet Tuesday evenings, April 8 and April 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. It will be led Bud Gross, who has done extensive genealogical research and maintains his own website with genealogical resources, and Joel Alderfer, Collections Manager at the Mennonite Heritage Center. Participants will learn to use on-line and Mennonite Heritage Center resources to develop and document a family tree; how to avoid expensive subscription fees; advantages of posting on-line; basic and advanced search techniques for census, social security, and cemetery and immigration records. The workshop is intended for participants who can bring a laptop or tablet PC.
Preregistration is necessary as the workshop size is limited. The workshop fee is $30 ($25 member).
