Tournament Parameters: All Divisions

 

 

Amateur designation for this division is a USCA Singles Handicap of 11 or higher, or equivalent as decided by management.

Pro is USCA Singles Handicap of 10 or below.

Every effort has been made to ensure that professional status players have not entered under amateur categories and that play will be made as fair as possible.

Matches will be played on 3/4 size courts, approximately 75' x 37.5 ft.  Each match consists of  3 teams of 2 players on each court that is in play for the round. Court assignments are posted in advance of your round.

Each team will play two matches, after which, the cut will be made to the final nine teams.

Scoring method for cut: (1) Win/Loss (2) "Net Points" (3) Total Points.  Tie breaker will be specified by Tournament Director.

Registration is by teams of two.  Select a team name.  It is by this team name that your team will be recognized by all (program, announcers, referees, etc).  Management reserves the right to change any team name that may be considered offensive, in poor taste, or otherwise unsuitable.

Turf conditions: fair to good.

Time allotment per game: Timed play 1 hr per match.  Semifinal and final games may be played to the post if time permits.  Play will cease immediately upon end of game signal.  A ball in play (struck or moving) will count for whatever result achieved, but no further bonus or continuation shots may be taken.

Tournament Director and Management reserve the right to amend or modify rules generally to accommodate particular environments and conditions, (such as assisting individuals with disabilities, or for any other reason deemed necessary) for any given match or tournament. Such modifications will be made known to the players before their match.

All referees calls apply. If a disputed ruling arises, referee may appeal to Tournament Director for final ruling.

Tournament Director and Management reserve the right to disqualify any player at any time for un-sporting conduct, other questionable behavior, or for any reason deemed to have a negative impact on others or the event.

Registration fees are non refundable.

Regulation mallets are supplied for Croquet Your Way’s Turbo-TournamentsTM.  Players may bring their own mallets though management reserves rights to disqualify any mallet deemed a safety hazard, detrimental to equipment or property, as providing unfair advantage, or in any other way inappropriate.

Division Placement

Management reserves the right to assign any player to any division at Management's sole discretion.

Players use only balls provided, no substitutions allowed.
