Senior Tournament

On Friday, June 2, seniors 60 and older are invited to participate in the Senior Amateur Division of the WHACK & ROLL Croquet Tournament. Teams of two players will compete for a Senior Traveling Trophy. Each team must choose a team name and play for a participating retirement community or senior community center. The trophy will be on display throughout the next year at the retirement community or senior community center of the winner’s choice.

Registration is $30.00/team and includes lunch
Limited registrations available — Advance registration required by May 19.  Two players per team.  Play will continue unless there is lightning, thunder or other dangerous weather conditions.

Clinics and and open play begins on April 2 and continues through the summer from 2:00-4:00 pm on the MHC lawn.  There is no charge.

NEW – Returning Winner – For any senior team that won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place the prior two years, the players must return for the next two years with a new partner who has not won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in the prior two years. Eleven players are affected by this rule for 2017: Regina Alderfer, Robert Brownell, Ford Fay, Merlin Greiser, Stan Hagberg, Caroline Heizman, Cliff Heizman, Ron Kolb-Wyckoff, Sam Lapp, Charlie Law.

NEW – Mallets are supplied for Croquet Your Way’s Turbo-TournamentsTM. Senior Division players must use mallets and balls provided, no substitutions allowed.
