Workshop: “Color, Color, and More Color”

The Mennonite Heritage Center, 565 Yoder Road, Harleysville, PA announces a one day workshop for oil painters on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, led by noted Bucks County artist Dot Bunn.

This workshop is designed for the oil painter who wants a better understanding of color mixing. The spectrum of color will be studied in a new and unique perspective that should change your way of looking at color mixing. We will explore which color palette best suits your style of painting. Learn how the informed use of opaque and transparent paints can improve your work. We will do exercises in mixing paint for harmony and we will explore the pros and cons of using a limited palette. A list of supplies will be sent upon registration. This workshop is for the beginner to intermediate oil painter.

Preregistration is required as the class size is limited to ten participants. The cost of the workshop is $60 ($55 member).
